Hearthside Grill & Fireplace Ltd. is dedicated to making a positive impact on our community! For over 11 years, Hearthside has been a major contributor and leading drop-off location for Fire Truck O'Toys. FTOT was founded by owner, Mark's niece, Kenzie Scott, in 2011 after Kenzie has spend three years in a wheelchair due to a degenerative bone disease. During her treatment and surgery times at St. Louis Children's Hospital, Kenzie noticed kids not receiving gifts over the
holidays either due to family not
wanting to leave their child's side
or financial hardship. After confiding
with her parents, Kenzie talked to her
school and church, Zion Lutheran
Belleville, plus all of her friends and
family, and together raised over 500 toys the first year! As of 2022, Fire Truck O'Toys has raised over
50,000 toys in support of our six local children's hospitals: St. Louis Children's Hospital, Mercy Children's,
SSM Cardinal Glennon, Shriner's Children's Hospital, Ranken Jordan Bridge Hospital, and Hawthorne
Children's Hospital. Hearthside is honored to collect new, unwrapped toys all year round!
Hearthside Grill & Fireplace Ltd. has also contributed to the Zion Lutheran Church Food Pantry during the annual Grill Fest in April. Hearthside offered a free bottle of sauce or a free propane tank refill with the donation of canned goods! Hearthside is proud to be a community supporter donating hundreds of cans of food because of our great customers!
When our community comes together, there is nothing we can't accomplish!
Gateway Classic Cars sponsored a car show to benefit Fire Truck O'Toys
with the help of Hearthside Grill & Fireplace providing the seating, grills. labor, tables and smiles! It was a huge WIN for our whole community!
We love supporting our local boy scouts as well! Boy Scout Troop 54
sold drinks during the Grill Fest but also took time to enjoy the antique firetruck from Fire Truck O'Toys!
Our community is everything to us, and we are proud of the mutual support!
