Hearthside Grill & Fireplace Ltd. opened the doors to its showroom in Belleville, Illinois in 2000. Additional showroom space was opened in 2014 to showcasing gorgeous outdoor living items. Today, Hearthside Grill & Fireplace Ltd. is the place to shop for hearth & home and all of your outdoor living wishes in southern Illinois, where the Urban family's roots run deep.
Mark Urban, fourth generation owner, started working for Midwestern Propane at the age of 16 and has held multiple positions within the company. Darrell & Don Urban were the beloved third generation owners of Midwestern Propane Gas Company. Mark's great-grandparents and founders, A.J. and Martha Urban, opened offices in downtown Belleville in 1936, selling butane, a new energy fuel for cooking and heating, to customers from Cairo to Chicago.

Mark was honored to initiate and purchase Hearthside Grill & Fireplace Ltd. from his uncle's idea of a retail specialty store to compliment the propane endeavor!
Midwestern and Hearthside occupy the same building at 418 South Belt East just east of the Belleville fairgrounds.
